Back to School





Now that the summer is coming to a close, and children are going back to school, those of you who have found it difficult to find the structure and stay with a exercise routine, will have no more excuses.  Even if you’re short on time you can always do something. Here is a 15 minute workout I did just the other day.

20 single Arm Kettlebell(KB) Swings L&R

15 Russian sit ups

15 Hanging Leg Raises

15 Dip Bar Leg Raises

5 Double KB Windmills

8 Pull Ups (weighted)

15 Double KB Dead Snatch

30 Push Ups (elevated on dip bars)

5 minutes active cool &  stretch with Indian Clubs

Try it out, let me know what you think.  If you don’t have KB use a dumbbell, and if you don’t have Indian clubs use light dumbbells. Workout hits the legs, but mainly focused on upper body.

Note: The snatches, and the swings require leg and hip drive in order to accomplish the movement correctly.

Remember something is better than nothing.
